Job summary

Elite Attachments Australia – Bayswater North VIC designs and manufactures attachments for earthmoving machinery across construction, agriculture and mining sectors. We seek an experienced Hydraulic Installation & Service Technician to install hydraulic systems onto excavator hitches and perform on-site and workshop work.

You will install, route and connect hoses, test installations, diagnose faults, read technical drawings, and liaise with customers.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience installing, assembling and repairing hydraulic systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic faults.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and complete installations to a high standard.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Install hydraulic hitches and attachments on excavators and machinery.
• Install, route and connect hydraulic hoses and fittings.
• Test completed hydraulic installations to ensure correct operation, identify leaks or faults, and meet quality standards.
• Diagnose and rectify hydraulic and mechanical issues.
• Carry out on-site warranty inspections and repairs when required.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and installation instructions.
• Liaise directly with customers when carrying out onsite work.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop.
