Job summary

TCCD is seeking a driven Field Sales/Merchandising specialist to drive distribution for leading grocery brands across the Sunshine Coast, Kingaroy and surrounds. You will build and nurture relationships with stores and MSOs to grow market share and category performance.

If you are a proactive communicator with strong negotiation skills, able to work autonomously, hold a valid driver’s license and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, this full‑time role offers training and a supportive team

Qualifications

• Experience in field-based sales or merchandising.
• FMCG grocery experience is favourable but not essential.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent time management and a positive attitude.
• Able to work autonomously.
• Valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Grow product distribution.
• Negotiate greater shelf space in stores to leverage market share.
• Maximise upcoming and current promotional activity.
• Drive sales results.

Job Description

The Role

Representing leading brands in the Independent Grocery space working across Sunshine Coast, Kingaroy and Surrounds you will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with stores and multi-site operators (MSO’s) to drive distribution and sales to increase market share and category performance iconic brands using opportunity-based selling.

Key Responsibilities

• Growing product distribution
• Negotiation of greater shelf space in store to leverage market share
• Maximising upcoming and current promotional activity
• Driving sales results
• Develop strong store relationships
• Implementation of POGs
• Reporting and providing feedback on key field insights and activity.
