Job summary

Queensland Parks & Wildlife Service in Eungella National Park seeks a Temporary OO4 Ranger to help manage one of Queensland's iconic national parks. You will support the Pioneer team, delivering the Operational Plan and Annual Work Plan under guidance from the Ranger in Charge.

The role involves field-based work including operating and maintaining tools and equipment, pest plant and animal management, planned burns, wildfire suppression, and park infrastructure upkeep, plus small projects,

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain park plant and equipment
• Manage pest plants and animals
• Conduct planned burns and wildfire suppression
• Maintain park infrastructure
• Manage small projects and compliance activities
• Support natural and cultural resource management
• Perform record-keeping and procurement tasks
• Provide on-ground supervision to field staff
