Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician - Power to join our high performing team in Port Melbourne. The role involves commissioning, maintenance and after-hours service on energized electrical equipment, while ensuring timely reports and strong customer relationships.

Applicants should have a state-based Electrical Licence (A Grade) and proven power industry experience as a service technician, with willingness to travel to remote sites and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant State-based Electrical Licence (A Grade) required.
• Commercial acumen and strong technical knowledge in data centres, telecom, commercial & industrial sectors a must.
• Proven track record within the power industry as a service technician.

Aufgaben

• Complete service reports, expense claims and reports by due date.
• Fill out timesheets accurately and submit to the Service Supervisor weekly.
• Complete Field Service Reports for every service call and obtain customer signature.
• Carry out commissioning, maintenance and after-hours service commitments.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and report issues promptly.
• Ensure company vehicle and appearance meet policy requirements.
• Manage stock requisitions for spare parts and tools.
• Identify and report sales opportunities to management and work with Sales teams.
