Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Melbourne to install, test, commission, service and repair UPS and critical power equipment for data centres, hospitals and other mission-critical environments.

You will work with a fully equipped toolkit and company vehicle, pursue advanced training, and participate in an on-call roster to support 24/7 operations. A Grade Electrical Licence and field service experience are required.

Qualifications

• A Grade Electrical Licence required.
• Experience in field service, industrial electrical or similar environments.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capability.
• Ability to work independently and build customer trust.
• UPS or critical power experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Service, test and commission UPS and critical power equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex faults across electrical and electronic systems.
• Support installation and upgrade projects.
• Deliver high-quality reporting and technical support to customers.
• Participate in an on-call roster supporting critical environments.
