Job summary

Brandt Tractor Australia seeks a Field Operations Manager to lead our customer-facing parts and service support functions across the Ballarat region. You will drive the strategic plan, oversee the field support team, and ensure exceptional service delivery and operational excellence.

You will mentor branch leaders, review financials, drive performance, and implement 5S and Lean principles with regional managers.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of heavy machinery dealer practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in business development.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Requires a Full Driver's Licence.
• Candidates must be able to obtain or possess a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Execute customer support plans to make parts and service operations distinctive and profitable.
• Oversee branch operations and implement strategic plans.
• Assist field teams with succession planning for stores and key roles.
• Review store financials and conduct monthly performance reviews.
• Develop plans to improve department performance.
• Track branch visit reports and ensure proper call cycles.
• Support 5S and Lean roll-out to new stores.
• Ensure dealer audit criteria are met at stores.
• Collaborate with division and regional CSA managers to support stores consistently.

About the role:

• Execute our customer support business plan and strategies to make our parts and service operations distinctive to the customer and profitable for the business. Oversee the successful implementation and execution of these plans through the branch operations.


• Assist field teams in guiding and building succession plans for each store and key roles.


• Review financials for your stores and do Monthly reviews with your team, helping identify focus areas.


• Develop plans for the improved performance of each department


• Track and follow up on branch visit report cards, ensuring proper call cycles are followed.


• Understand 5S and Lean principles and support them as we roll them out to new stores.


• Ensure dealer audit criteria are met at the stores.


• Collaborate with division and regional CSA managers to support the stores consistently.

About you:
