Responsibilities

• Actively identify and secure new host employers through business development and networking.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the recruitment team to match suitable candidates with host employer vacancies.

• Address workplace concerns, performance issues and other challenges in a timely and professional manner.
• Liaise with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to monitor training progress and qualification requirements.
• Promote apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities to businesses, schools and industry stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with the National Standards for Group Training Organisations and relevant legislation.
• Achieve monthly sales, business development, apprentice placement and performance KPIs.
• Adhere to Apprenticeships Are Us policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Proven sales and business development experience is essential, with the ability to generate leads, secure new business and achieve targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in account management, recruitment, employment services or a similar industry.
• Ability to confidently approach prospective employers, conduct business meetings and convert opportunities into ongoing partnerships.
• Strong organisational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• A current driver's licence.
• A genuine passion for supporting apprentices and trainees to achieve successful employment outcomes.

Highly Regarded:

• Previous experience working within a Group Training Organisation (GTO).
• Strong knowledge of apprenticeships, traineeships and the Group Training model.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of the National Standards for Group Training Organisations and relevant apprenticeship and traineeship legislation.
• Experience working within the automotive industry or other trade-based industries.
• Established industry contacts and experience developing relationships with host employers.
