Job summary

Urban Rest in Sydney is seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Field Officer to support our operations across multiple properties. You will perform hands-on maintenance, repairs, and day-to-day tasks to deliver a flawless guest experience.

The role requires a trades background, strong self-management, and excellent communication to coordinate with contractors and internal teams. Availability across seven days and a valid driver's licence are essential, with travel to sites a regular part of the

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Australian driver’s licence and be comfortable driving a work van.
• Proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to inform stakeholders quickly.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented approach across trades (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC).

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day maintenance and repairs on-site.
• Troubleshoot across disciplines including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Travel to properties across Sydney to complete fixes and inspections.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and manage on-site contractors.
• Assist with stock, safety, and compliance activities.
