Job summary

Laser Services on the Gold Coast seeks a Sales, Marketing & Technical Service Representative to blend customer-facing sales with laser calibration and servicing. You will promote offerings, prepare quotes, and support calibration and repairs of construction and surveying lasers.

You will engage with customers, support marketing activities, and participate in trade shows, with training provided for the technical aspects as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be motivated, reliable and eager to learn.
• Confident in communicating with customers.
• Interest in sales, marketing and hands-on technical work.
• Mechanically and technically minded.
• Able to diagnose problems and use tools and equipment.
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Comfortable working independently and in a team.
• Experience in sales/marketing/electronics helpful; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identify and follow up on new sales opportunities.
• Prepare quotes and follow up on leads.
• Promote products and services through phone, email, social media and other channels.
• Assist with marketing campaigns and customer communications.
• Attend customer sites, trade shows and industry events as required.
• Provide excellent customer service and after-sales support.
• Assist with calibration, testing and repair of laser equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform basic repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality checks.
