Job summary

Berendsen Fluid Power Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician based in Wetherill Park to service hydraulic systems across multiple sectors. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs and preventative maintenance on hydraulic equipment on customer sites and in the workshop.

Role requires trade qualification, field service experience, and strong reporting skills, with flexibility for overtime and weekend call-outs. Full driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification relevant to hydraulics.
• Experience with hydraulic field service or heavy industry.
• Able to diagnose faults and perform repairs independently.
• Strong communication and ability to report clearly.
• Willing to work overtime and weekend rosters when required.
• Valid driver’s license and safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
• Determine corrective actions to return machines to operation.
• Installations and commissioning of hydraulic systems and components.
• Provide preventative maintenance on existing hydraulic equipment.
• Workshop-based work including cylinder rebuilds and pump/motor repairs.
• Prepare clear service reports after field work.
• Work safely and in compliance with WHS procedures.
