Job summary

SpaceX is hiring Field Engineers in Australia to partner with prospective and growing commercial customers. You will be the technical face of SpaceX Super Intelligence, guiding customers through proofs of concept and showcasing value across engineering workflows and business processes.

You'll collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to scope solutions, demonstrate capabilities, and act as a trusted advisor to technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with technical audiences.
• Fluency in software development workflows and modern organisational processes.
• Hands-on technical ability with AI tooling and systems thinking.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Build working prototypes that connect multiple tools and agents to show customers how a real workflow runs end to end.
• Build trusted relationships with engineering leaders, architects, and developers, serving as their technical advisor.
• Translate customer requirements into end-to-end solution designs, from agents and tooling to the controls that keep people in the loop.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, whiteboard sessions, and hands-on workshops tailored to customer needs.
• Act as the customer's technical advocate internally, influencing roadmap priorities and escalating feedback to Product and Engineering.
• Collaborate with post-sales teams to ensure a smooth handoff and successful customer onboarding.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the Grok platform and the competitive landscape to position our value effectively.
• Support account planning and help drive expansion opportunities across a portfolio of customers with technical validation.
