Job summary

DarkVision Technologies Inc. is seeking a Field Deployment Specialist to support operations across Australia, based in Toowoomba, QLD.

You will deploy DarkVision’s imaging technology at oil and gas sites, coordinating with operators, service contractors and on-site teams to ensure safe, timely delivery of projects. The role requires hands-on field work, substantial travel, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Several years of field experience in oil and gas, wireline or related field service roles.
• Experience deploying logging technologies using wireline, tractor, coil, and other deployment methods.
• Comfortable running jobs on-site independently and representing the company to customers.

Responsibilities

• Deployments: run each job from start to finish—mobilization, rig-up, running tools, and rig-down, ensuring safety and success.
• Preparation for Jobs: ensure tools, parts, trucks and equipment are checked, cleaned, calibrated and verified.
• Communications: provide quick, clear communication with customers and site personnel.
• Troubleshooting: troubleshoot on-site issues with support from engineering and operations teams.
• Product Input & Feedback: provide field feedback to improve products and processes.
• Travel: travel throughout Australia and potentially internationally to deploy technology.
