Job summary

Beveridge Williams is seeking a dedicated Civil Labourer to support our Subsurface Utility Investigation (SUI) team in NSW. This full-time role involves assisting utility locators, surveyors, and field technicians on a range of infrastructure projects.

You will operate hand and power tools, help with site preparation, identify underground utilities, and follow safety procedures. MR Licence and White Card are essential; physical fitness and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in labouring, civil construction, or related roles.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Hold a Minimum Medium Rigid (MR) Driver Licence.
• Have a Construction Industry White Card.
• Physical fitness to perform manual tasks outdoors.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide general labouring support to utility investigation and survey teams.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Safely transport, handle and maintain equipment and materials.
• Operate and drive company vehicles in accordance with licence requirements.
• Assist with identifying, locating, and marking underground utilities.
• Support vacuum excavation and utility exposure activities as required.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
• Adhere to workplace safety, environmental and quality procedures.
• Assist with other field and operational duties as required.
