Job summary

Geosurv is seeking experienced Civil Labourers to join our Utility Investigations & Maintenance team on major infrastructure, utility and maintenance projects across NSW. The role is hands-on and requires pride in doing the job properly and safely.

We offer consistent work with overtime opportunities and a chance to develop skills across Geosurv's Utilities Network, including NDD, utilities and asset maintenance. HR Licence and White Card are essential, and physical manual work is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil construction, utilities, roadworks or infrastructure.
• Experience with concrete and/or asphalt reinstatement.
• Confidence with common civil construction tools and equipment.
• Experience around excavation and underground services.
• Strong site safety understanding.
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
• Reliable, hardworking and team-driven.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Support NDD crews with excavation, breakout and utility investigation works.
• Complete backfilling, compaction and site reinstatement.
• Carry out concrete, asphalt and paving repairs and reinstatement.
• Safely operate road saws, concrete coring equipment, jackhammers, compactors and other civil equipment.
• Assist with site establishment, preparation and pack-up.
• Work closely with NDD operators, supervisors and other crew members to deliver quality outcomes.
