Job summary

CS Gas Pty Ltd is seeking an Electrical Technician to join our field-based team operating across the Mackay Emerald Coalfields region. You will install, service, calibrate and maintain gas well metering and SCADA equipment in mine environments.

The role requires an unrestricted Qld Electrical Licence, EEHA, LV/CPR, and the ability to work independently or with a team on rostered shifts, with pre-employment medicals as required.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Electrical License Queensland.
• EEHA Certification (high voltage).
• Current LV/CPR certificate.
• Experience on coal & gas mining sites.
• Australian Manual Drivers Licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Quality & Safety Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, calibrate and maintain gas well metering and SCADA equipment.
• Work on field-based projects across Mackay–Emerald coalfields region.
• Roster-based shifts with pre-employment medical as required.
• Prepare FAT/commissioning reports.

Job description

CS GAS is a specialist supplier of well optimisation, production process control (SCADA) systems and a provider of gas field services. Our organisation has a multidiscipline engineering focus with operations that include fabrication (welding - pressure piping, vessels, structural), electrical, instrumentation and industrial control systems.

We are seeking an Electrical Technician to join our field based team. Ideally you will be located in the Mackay to Emerald Coalfields region and have experience working on mine sites.

The position requires the installation, service, calibration and maintenance of gas well metering and optimisation equipment as well as related metering and SCADA equipment. The position will be rosterbased, and applicants may be subject to a pre-employment medical.

Remuneration will be in accordance with skills and experience

• Standard 11
• Unrestricted Electrical License Qld
• EEHA Certification (high voltage)
• Current LV/CPR certificate
• Experience working in the coal & gas mining sectors
• Australian Manual Drivers License
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to comply with the CS GAS and common industry "Fitness for Work" policies
• Experience working within an environment of Quality Management Systems and Safety Management Systems
• Experience around Goaf, UIS, SIS skids and Blowers
• Commissioning and FAT report writing skills
• Instrumentation qualifications and experience (PLC, Modbus, Calibration)
