Job summary

GR Production Services seeks an E&I Technician to operate and maintain gas plant assets and field infrastructure, maximise production, and ensure plant availability.

The role requires electrical/instrumentation qualifications (Cert III Electrotechnology, Cert III Instrumentation), QLD licences, EEHA, LVR/CPR, WP licence; and a 15/13 roster (FIFO/DIDO) in Moranbah.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology is required.
• QLD Electrical Licence – Fitter and Mechanic held.
• Certificate III Instrumentation required.
• EEHA, LVR/CPR, High Voltage Switching certificates and WP licence are required.
• Open driver’s licence is required.
• 5+ years in similar E&I roles and experience with gas plant instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Gas Plant asset, gas wells and related field infrastructure.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to maximise production and plant availability.
• Complete and issue control of work documentation; maintain instruments and gas analysers.
• Adhere to HSEQ systems and Life Saving Rules; build productive stakeholder relationships.

The Role

The role of an E&I Technician forms part of the team responsible for operating and maintaining plant and equipment associated with the compression, power, water treatment facilities and well field assets to maximise production, reliability and plant availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Gas Plant asset, gas wells and associated field infrastructure.
• Operate assets aligned with standard operating procedures and guides to maximise production, plant availability.
• Facilitate the completion of scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, with minimising the impact on the production of gas, electricity and water.
• Perform all scheduled daily operational tasks, preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Prepare, perform and issue control of work documentation
• Maintenance of various instruments and gas analysers
• Understand and comply with HSEQ systems and processes, including Life Saving Rules.
• Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders and embrace a learner mindset that seeks continuous improvement.

Experience

• Repair and calibrate instrumentation associated with gas plant.
• Process Control experience including - PLC’s, DCS, SCADA, HMI’s and communications equipment associated with these.
• 5 years experience in same or similar position
• PTW and Isolation Training/Experience
• Experience using Maximo or other Work Management system
