IoTics Pty Ltd is seeking a Control Systems Electrician/Technician to join their hands-on automation team in Australia. The role spans PLC, SCADA, instrumentation and control systems across multiple industrial sites, offering growth into leadership with strong customer interaction.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in industrial electrical maintenance or automation, holds an A-Grade Electrical Licence, and is proficient with Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLCs, SCADA and HMIs.

Qualifications

• Electrical licensing: Holding a current A-Grade Electrical Licence is essential.
• A minimum of 2–3 years in industrial electrical maintenance, service or automation.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills in industrial environments are highly valued.
• Experience with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley PLC platforms; exposure to SCADA, HMI, VSDs and instrumentation is preferred.
• Good English communication skills for on-site liaison with customers and other trades.
• Australian C-Class Driver's Licence and Australian working rights; visa sponsorship not available.
• Willingness to travel to regional South Australia and occasionally work after-hours or weekends.

Responsabilités

• Lead PLC and control system fault-finding, including SCADA and HMI troubleshooting.
• Provide industrial electrical breakdown support and diagnose automation faults.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance to improve plant reliability.
• Lead control system upgrades, modifications and commissioning.
• Provide remote diagnostics and customer technical support.
• Install and commission new control systems and electrical equipment.
• Test equipment to ensure proper operation before handover.
• Collaborate with customers to resolve critical issues and build relationships.
• Support automation projects and continuous improvement across sites.
