Job summary

Embedded Expertise is seeking two Electrical Automation Technicians in Brisbane to mentor and support Instrumentation and Electrical Technicians across client sites in Queensland. You will focus on maintenance, troubleshooting, optimisation and commissioning of industrial automation and control systems, including PLC, SCADA, HMI and networking.

Qualifications

PLC programming and fault finding on Siemens platforms.
SCADA/HMI development, configuration and fault finding.
Cert III or IV in Instrumentation and Control.
Hazardous Area installation and maintenance qualifications.
Knowledge of AS4024 Machine Safety standards.
Strong electrical experience in manufacturing, utilities, mining, or process industries.
Experience with commissioning, integration and optimisation of automation systems.
Willingness to work rosters and after-hours callouts.

Responsibilities

Provide mentoring and hands-on technical support to Instrumentation and Electrical Technicians.
Maintain, troubleshoot, optimise and commission industrial automation and control systems.
Carry out field service tasks, breakdown support, electrical installation works and system upgrades.
Assist in commissioning PLC, SCADA, and HMI and related industrial networks.
Operate across various client sites throughout Queensland.
