Brisbane City Council is currently recruiting for Building and Construction Liaison Officer roles within City Planning and Economic Development Services. This predominantly field-based position engages directly with construction sites, stakeholders and the community to achieve positive development outcomes across Brisbane.

Two temporary full-time positions are available, with a duration up to 12 months. Successful applicants will foster relationships, assess activities, and help minimise impacts

• clear communication with diverse stakeholders
• ability to interpret and apply legislation and approvals
• sound evaluation, analytical and problem-solving skills
• ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines

Responsabilités

• Proactively monitoring and engaging with development sites to support conformance with approvals and conditions
• Coordinate activities with internal stakeholders to deliver positive development outcomes across Brisbane
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, residents and stakeholders
• Manage customer enquiries related to construction impacts
• Conduct site inspections and prepare clear reports and documentation
• Apply relevant legislation, policies and procedures and contribute to continuous improvement
