Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group is partnering with Rio Tinto to recruit entry level Mine Operators for the Northern Andoom Operations in Weipa. No mining experience is required and full on-the-job training is provided.

The role operates on a 4/5/5/4 rotating day/night roster and is residential for Weipa residents, with local accommodation available. Successful applicants may join a pool for future Mine Operator opportunities across Andoom and Amrun, offering a pathway into a mining career while living

About the Opportunity

• No previous mining experience required

This is a residential opportunity for Weipa residents with existing local accommodation.

The 4/5/5/4 rotating day/night roster gives you the opportunity to build a career in mining while continuing to live and work locally in Weipa.

• Current Weipa resident with existing local accommodation
