Job summary

Qsf Australia is seeking skilled Fencing leading hand and Labourers to join our Brisbane team. This full-time role focuses on installation, repair and maintenance of fencing projects across commercial and industrial sites.

You will measure, prepare, and install timber, chainwire, aluminium fencing, ensuring adherence to designs, quality standards and safety requirements. Joining our team means contributing to varied projects and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fencer or similar fencing trade role.
• Familiar with different fencing materials and techniques, including chainwire, timber, aluminium.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in fencing work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to measure and cut to spec.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to obtain safety certifications as required.
• Good communication and teamwork with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Install and construct fencing structures to designs and dimensions.
• Prepare sites, measure, mark and set out foundations.
• Follow plans and specifications to meet client requirements.
• Ensure materials, equipment and safety procedures are in place on site.

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Fencing leading hand and Labourers to join the team at Qsf Australia. This is a full-time position based in Brisbane, QLD As a Fencer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality fencing solutions to our clients. Your expertise in fencing installation, repair, and maintenance will be essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the trades and services industry. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects whilst contributing to the success and growth of our business.

What you'll be doing

Installing and constructing fencing structures including timber, chainwire, aluminium and other materials to specified designs and dimensions

Measuring, marking and preparing sites for fencing installation, ensuring accurate placement and alignment

Following project plans, blueprints and specifications to ensure work meets client requirements and quality standards

Preparing materials and ensuring all necessary equipment is available and properly maintained for each job

Collaborating with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Adhering to all health and safety regulations and best practices on site

Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress and outcomes

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Fencer or in a similar fencing trade role, with demonstrated competency in fence installation

Sound knowledge of various fencing materials and techniques, including chainwire, Sliding gate and swing gates

Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in fencing work

Strong physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour,

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to precise measurements and specifications

Valid driver's licence

Current or willingness to obtain relevant safety certifications and licences as required by legislation

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a professional approach to customer interactions

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking responsibility for the quality of your work

A commitment to health and safety practices and maintaining a clean and organised work site
