Job summary

Future Fence Company in Brisbane seeks a Senior Fencer/Carpenter to own installation projects and set the pace on-site. You will be supported by a Junior Installer and an experienced Installation Manager and must communicate clearly with clients and complete handover procedures.

Requirements include 5+ years in carpentry or fencing, experience with gate automation, own power tools, and a current White Card. This permanent full-time position offers a base salary and KPI bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Have at least 5 years of experience in carpentry or fencing, including experience in gate automation.
• Have your own power tools.
• Have an eye for detail, quality control and the ability to problem solve on the spot.
• Have a current driver’s licence.
• Have a current White Card (or a willingness to obtain one before you start).
• Are physically fit and capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Are comfortable guiding and training junior installers.
• Are able to provide feedback on site into our products and installation methods so that Future Fence can continually optimise products and services.

About Future Fence

Future Fence is a disruptive supplier of aluminium fencing products based in Brisbane.

The business is establishing an installation division to handle the supply and installation of Future Fence products in South-East Queensland, including front fencing, pool fencing, pedestrian gates and automated sliding and swing gates.

Future Fence has an established reputation of providing quality products and over-delivering on service. Our installation team must deliver to the same standard on site.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Fencer/Carpenter to take ownership of our installation projects.

You will be supported by a Junior Installer and an Installation Manager who has over 20 years’ experience in installing architectural aluminium systems and gate automation.

This role is for an experienced fencer who can set the pace on-site, problem-solve and is able to communicate with clients and complete handover procedures.

About You

You’ll suit this role if you:

• Have at least 5 years’ experience in carpentry or fencing, including experience in gate automation;
• Have your own power tools;
• Have an eye for detail, quality control and the ability to problem solve on the spot;

This role is for someone who would prefer to stick around an extra 30 minutes to complete a job, rather than pack up on time and have to return the next day.

What you’ll get
