The Co-Group are currently recruiting a Female Support Worker to provide ongoing, dedicated support for a participant in Banora Point, NSW. This role would suit an experienced support worker who is passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care and understands the importance of consistency, trust, and relationship building in achieving positive outcomes.

You will have at least 2 years' experience with NDIS participants and be comfortable with complex personal care, continence care,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience supporting NDIS participants with complex personal care needs.
• NDIS Module – Quality, Safety & You required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment.
• Blue Card (WWCC) for paid employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing, dedicated support for a participant in Banora Point, NSW.
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and maintain consistency, trust and relationship building.
• Assist with complex personal care needs including showering, dressing, continence, mobility and overnight supports.
• Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using approved techniques.

The Co-Group are currently recruiting a Female Support Worker to provide ongoing, dedicated support for a participant in Banora Point, NSW.

This role would suit an experienced support worker who is passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care and understands the importance of consistency, trust, and relationship building in achieving positive outcomes.

About the Role

The participant requires support from a confident, capable and compassionate support worker with experience supporting participants who have complex personal care and high-care needs.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience supporting NDIS participants with complex personal care needs.
• Strong hands-on experience providing:
• Showering and personal hygiene support
• Dressing and grooming assistance
• Continence care
• Mobility and transfer support
• Overnight supports
• Experience working with participants who have:
• Pressure injury risks
• Skin integrity concerns
• Other high-care support requirements
• A strong understanding of:
• Person-centred practice
• Participant choice and control
• Dignity of risk

Requirements

• Valid Driver's Licence
• Access to acomprehensive insuredcar with 5 seats
• NDIS Module – Quality, Safety & You
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment
• Blue Card (WWCC) for paid employment
• Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using approved techniques.
