Job summary

Myxa is a registered NDIS service provider offering person-centred supports to people with disability, including mental health and physical disabilities. This role involves assisting with personal care, transportation, community access, and daily living skills across a variety of shifts.

You will work in a supportive team, applying positive behaviour strategies and ensuring safety with First Aid, WWCC, NDIS checks, and vaccination proof. Training and ongoing development are provided.

Qualifications

• Understand NDIS and participant support requirements.
• Experience implementing positive behaviour support for complex behaviours.
• Experience in Mental Health.
• Experience supporting NDIS participants with physical and psychosocial disabilities.
• Excellent communication to respond to needs of people with disability.
• Passion for building relationships and rapport with participants.
• Able to work in a team and independently.
• Ability to complete detailed and accurate documentation.
• Hold a First Aid Certificate.
• Have a Drivers Licence.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
• Working with Children Check.
• Proof of Covid-19 vaccination.
• Legal right to work in Australia.

• A strong understanding of the NDIS and participant support requirements
