Qualifications

• Ability to work independently, manage daily jobs and contribute to a team.
• A reliable, practical approach with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a professional manner with customers.
• Air compressor, pneumatic or related industrial equipment experience is highly regarded.
• A current forklift licence is an advantage but is not essential.
• A current driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• A current Construction White Card.
• Ability to obtain a Blue Card.
• Willingness to travel throughout Gympie, the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas.
• Ability to safely carry out the physical requirements of field service work.

Field Service Technician – Air Compressors & Industrial Vacuum Systems

Infinity Air & Vacuum Services is seeking a mechanically minded Field Service Technician to join our team, servicing customers across Gympie, the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas.

This hands-on role involves servicing, diagnosing and repairing air compressors, industrial vacuum systems and associated equipment at customer sites. It would suit a maintenance fitter, motor mechanic, diesel mechanic, small engine mechanic, mechanical service technician, or someone with relevant mechanical trade experience.

Key responsibilities

Carry out preventative maintenance, servicing and repairs on air compressors, industrial vacuum pumps and associated equipment.

Diagnose mechanical faults and troubleshoot equipment performance issues.

Assist with equipment installations, commissioning and compressed air system maintenance.
