Job summary

Smithfield Cattle Company, based in Southern Queensland, seeks an experienced Weighbridge & Administration Assistant at Sapphire Feedlot near Goondiwindi, who has a genuine interest in the feedlot industry and a commitment to delivering accurate day-to-day office operations.

You will manage weighbridge operations, perform general administrative tasks, support stock control, and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports with strong data integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience with weighbridge and admin tasks
• Ability to prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports
• Commitment to data accuracy and integrity
• Understanding of WHS responsibilities in a feedlot

Responsibilities

• Operate the feedlot weighbridge system for weigh-ins/outs
• Perform general administrative and reception duties
• Support managers with stock control and inventory
• Prepare reports and reconcile accounts
• Provide admin support to senior management
• Manage livestock and commodity administration and records
• Distribute internal and external reporting to customers/vendors
• Maintain data integrity and quality
• Assist in upholding animal welfare standards
• Contribute to other feedlot tasks as required
