Job summary

Baiada is seeking a proactive Feed Mill Weighbridge Operator to support weighbridge operations and ensure accurate receipt and dispatch of goods at our site in Griffith, NSW. You will handle weighbridge records, documentation, and liaise with drivers and production teams to maintain smooth vehicle flow.

Ideal candidates will have weighbridge or logistics experience, good computer literacy, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and site procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in weighbridge, logistics, manufacturing, warehousing or similar environments is advantageous.
• Strong computer skills and data-entry accuracy with site systems.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Clear communication with drivers and site teams, customer-service approach.
• Commitment to safety and following site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge to record inbound/outbound vehicle weights.
• Process deliveries and dispatch paperwork (dockets, weigh tickets, basic admin).
• Enter and maintain records in site systems with accuracy.
• Coordinate with drivers, production and site teams to manage vehicle flow and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and WHS requirements.
• Monitor and report weighbridge or system issues to supervisors.
• Keep weighbridge/work area clean, safe and organized.
• Support general site administration as required.

About the role

As a Feed Mill Weighbridge Operator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the weighbridge and ensuring accurate receipting and dispatch of product and materials. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating the weighbridge to accurately record inbound and outbound vehicle weights
• Processing deliveries and dispatch paperwork (dockets, weigh tickets, basic admin)
• Entering and maintaining accurate records in site systems
• Coordinating with drivers, production, and site teams to manage vehicle flow and scheduling
• Ensuring compliance with site procedures, food safety and WHS requirements
• Monitoring and reporting any weighbridge or system issues to supervisors
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised weighbridge/work area
• Supporting general site administration as required

About you

You’re a proactive, reliable team member who is comfortable working in a busy site environment and can maintain accuracy under pressure. You’ll bring:

• Experience in a weighbridge, logistics, manufacturing, warehouse, or similar environment (advantageous)
• Good computer skills and confidence using systems for data entry and admin tasks
