Job summary

Baiada is seeking a reliable Feed Mill Weighbridge Operator to support day-to-day weighbridge operations at Hanwood. You will ensure accurate receipting and dispatch of product and materials, recording inbound and outbound weights, and maintaining records in site systems.

The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and effective coordination with drivers and site teams in a busy feed mill environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in weighbridge, logistics, manufacturing, warehouse, or similar environment is advantageous.
• Good computer skills and confidence using systems for data entry and admin tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear communication skills with drivers and site teams.
• Commitment to safety and following workplace procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge to accurately record inbound and outbound vehicle weights.
• Process deliveries and dispatch paperwork (dockets, weigh tickets, basic admin).
• Enter and maintain accurate records in site systems.
• Coordinate with drivers, production, and site teams to manage vehicle flow and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with site procedures, food safety and WHS requirements.
• Monitor and report any weighbridge or system issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised weighbridge/work area.
• Support general site administration as required.

About the role
