Job summary

Australian Country Choice (ACC) seeks an administration-focused team member to manage data processing, payroll support and onboarding at Brindley Park Feedlot. You will liaise with visitors, suppliers and staff, maintain accurate records, and use livestock data systems and MS Office.

The role offers stability and career progression within ACC’s integrated beef supply chain, with competitive pay and overtime. A hands-on approach with livestock is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with visitors, suppliers, staff and drivers.
• Collect, record and process data accurately and timely.
• Use livestock data systems (StockaID, FY3000 or similar).
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Report weighbridge activities as required.
• Support timekeeping and payroll activities.
• Assist with new employee onboarding.
• Provide backup support to other administration staff.

About the role

Brindley Park Feedlot has carrying capacity of 25,000 standard cattle units, with diverse cattle types from long fed Wagyu through to mid fed export cattle and a range of feeding programs. Reporting to the Administration Manager, this is a key role which interacts with all feedlot departments and takes responsibility for timely and accurate processing of administration activities including:

• Professional liaison and communication with a range of visitors, suppliers, staff and drivers
• Accurately and timely collection, recording & processing of data and information
• Effective utilisation of livestock data systems (eg StockaID and FY3000 or similar)
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Reporting on weighbridge activities as required
• Supporting timekeeping and payroll activities
• New employee onboarding
• Providing back up support/relief to other administration team members
