Job summary

Teys Australia is seeking aFeed Operator to join the Mill/Feeding team at the Jindalee Feedlot near Temora, Regional NSW. You will assist with daily feedlot operations, operate machinery, maintain records, and ensure timely delivery of commodities and rations to cattle.

This full-time role offers stability, training, and development opportunities, with a roster of 4 days on/3 off and 6 days on/1 off, plus a starting wage of about $32.22 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation.

Qualifications

• Ability to carry out manual maintenance tasks and operate machinery.
• Commitment to safe work practices and following procedures.
• Willingness to learn and observe details.
• Ability to work in a team and also work independently.
• Experience with roster-based shift patterns is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day feedlot operations and machinery use.
• Maintain accurate daily records and ensure timely delivery of rations.
• Operate feeding equipment and assist with plant maintenance and hygiene.
• Opportunity for cross-training as Mill Operator.

About the Role

We are looking for aFeed Operatorto join ourMill/Feedingteam at ourJindalee Feedlotlocated near Temora,Regional NSW.

You will assist with the day-to-day operations of the feedlot and maintain a high standard and timely delivery of commodities and feeding rations to cattle, including the operation of modern feeding machinery and farm equipment, plant maintenance and hygiene upkeep, general feedlot maintenance, and maintaining accurate daily records. There is also opportunity for cross training asMill Operator.ATruck licenseisnotrequired for this position.

You will be a multi-skilled individual who has a genuine aptitude and interest in mechanical equipment and has good attention to detail while enjoying a variety of tasks and challenges.

It isessentialthat you have the following:

• Ability to carry out manual maintenance tasks and operate machinery
• Ability to work safely and follow policies and procedures
• Willingness to learn and observe details
• Ability to work in a team environment, as well as on your own
• Ability to work a roster system records.

The successful candidate roster will reflect the below:
