Inghams Chickens is seeking a warehouse specialist based in Prestons, NSW. You will operate forklifts, work with RF scanners, and participate in a fast-paced, team-focused environment with consistent hours and strong safety culture.

Immediate start, onsite parking, and employee discounts are part of the role. You will handle pallet picking, packing, and loading/unloading, while adhering to food safety standards in a freezer/chiller setting.

Competenze

• Warehouse and/or Distribution experience or similar required.
• Experience with RF scanners.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.

Mansioni

• Operate forklifts (counterbalance experience required).
• Perform high-reach forklift tasks in designated areas.
• Select and pack pallets using RF scanning systems.
• Work in a freezer/chiller environment.
• Store and maintain materials, equipment, and tools.
• Identify and escalate Food Safety & Quality, hazard, and risk issues to leadership.

Daily Tasks

• Forklift operating (counterbalance experience is a must)
• High-reach forklift operation in some areas, 7 bays high, single bay deep
• Both pallet and unit picking and packing using RF scanning and high-reach RC and RM forklifts for both warehouse and truck loading/unloading operations
• Working within a freezer/chiller environment
• Storing andmaintainingmaterials, equipment, and tools
• Identifying and escalating Food Safety & Quality, hazard, and risk issues to the relevant leadership teams

You will bring to this role

• Warehouse and/or Distribution experience or similar required
• Experience with RF scanners
• Understand and follow instructions and procedures
• Work well independently, within a team environment
• Communicate well both written and verbally
• Showing commitment, reliability, and motivation
• Respond calmly when faced with obstacles
• Physically fit and repetitively lift 5kg-15kg
• Flexibility to cover various shifts such as regular weekend work and public holidays
