Job summary

Inghams Chickens in Osborne Park, WA is seeking a hands-on Process Worker to join our production team on alternating Day and Afternoon shifts. No prior experience required as on-the-job training is provided, with consistent hours and onsite parking.

You will process and inspect raw materials safely, perform manual handling, and contribute to a clean, safe working environment while upholding Food Safety and Quality standards.

Qualifications

• Able to work with minimal supervision in a small team.
• Capable of performing tasks efficiently and safely.
• Good command of English, both verbal and written.
• Able to lift 5–15 kg and operate a move production line.

Responsibilities

• Process and inspect raw materials safely and systematically, according to the quality specifications.
• Perform manual handling tasks which include lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, and reaching.
• Cleaning duties and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Store and maintain materials, equipment, and tools.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.
• Identify and elevate Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards, and risks.
• Participate in safety initiatives, follow the safety rules, speak up, and be mindful of risks.
• Being an active, committed, and reliable team member.

Your Opportunity to Join our Team

Based at our Primary Processing site in Osborne Park WA, you will join a team of hard-working individuals such as yourself. This hands-on Process Worker role offers various AM and PM shifts from Monday to Friday (with some weekend work as well).

Shifts Available:

• Day Shift - Process Worker 4:30am-12:51pm or 5:30am-1:51pm
• Day Shift - Live Bird (Red Area) 2:15am-10:36am
• Afternoon Shift - Process Worker 1:00pm-9:21pm or 2:00pm-10:21pm
• Immediate start - No experience required, on the job training provided

• Ability to understand, correctly interpret and follow instructions, procedures, and information.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Good command of English both verbal and written.
• Able to respond calmly and methodically when faced with obstacles.
• Good level of fitness is required as you will manually handle up to 5kg- 15kg
• Must be able to work with a move production line
