Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Extensive experience implementing and operating network security in complex ICT environments.
• Ability to configure and manage network security components (firewalls, servers, routers).
• Experience assessing network security architectures and recommending improvements.
• Strong understanding of defence-in-depth in network design and configuration.
• Experience with network device configurations and security hardening.
• Proven ability to secure network communications across environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, operate and maintain secure network infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
• Configure, test and maintain network hardware, software and security devices.
• Assess existing network architectures and identify vulnerabilities and improvements.
• Implement and maintain network security controls including firewalls, routers and protective tech.
• Apply defence-in-depth to strengthen network design and posture.
• Conduct security assessments of complex information systems using security frameworks and tools.
• Analyse cyber threats and mitigate security risks.
• Assess device configurations and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to harden critical infrastructure against threats.
• Provide specialist advice and documentation to support network security uplift.
