Job summary

Best & Less is seeking a highly organized Merchandise Administration Assistant to join our Merchandise team in Australia. You will support end-to-end product lifecycle, coordinate stock and allocations, raise POs, and assist with reporting to guide decisions.

You will work closely with Buyers, Suppliers, Stores, and our Distribution Centre, bringing structure and accuracy to product data, planning, and seasonal processes. This role offers growth within Merchandise, Buying, or Planning.

Qualifications

• Previous administration experience in Retail, Merchandise, Buying, Planning, or Supply Chain.
• Intermediate Excel skills and strong numerical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative approach and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Passion for fashion, product, and retail trends.

Responsibilities

• Managing stock replenishment and product allocations across our store network.
• Raising purchase orders and ensuring product information is accurate and up to date.
• Assisting with sales, stock, and trade reporting to support business decisions.
• Monitoring stock availability and communicating any issues, risks, or opportunities.
• Supporting Buyers with analysis, administration, and product-related reporting.
• Coordinating product samples for reviews, marketing activities, and photoshoots.
• Assisting with Critical Path management to ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support product delivery.
• Maintaining product information in merchandise and PLM systems.
• Supporting range reviews, product presentations, and seasonal planning activities.
