Job summary

Sydney Trains is seeking a Manager Fare Compliance Operations and Planning to lead the Fare Compliance Unit, developing deployment strategies and performance reporting to optimise revenue protection and compliance outcomes. You will build cross‑organizational relationships across Transport for NSW, translate insights into practical action, and drive workforce capability and training initiatives.

This permanent full‑time role is based in Redfern, NSW, with an emphasis on stakeholder collaboration

Qualifications

Requires relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience in a similar role within a complex operational environment.
Ability to analyse information from multiple sources and translate insights into practical actions.
Proven capability to lead teams through change and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead the operational effectiveness of the Fare Compliance Unit through deployment strategies, performance management, reporting and workforce capability initiatives.
Develop and implement revenue protection, business improvement and support initiatives to maximise compliance outcomes and protect revenue.
Build collaborative relationships across the Transport Cluster to strengthen information sharing and support revenue protection objectives.
