Job summary

Rugby World Cup Australia is seeking a Fan Experience Manager to lead the planning and delivery of Fan Festivals and fan engagement initiatives for the Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027. The role reports to the Head of Fan Experience and can be based in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne or Adelaide.

You will oversee multi-city fan experiences, coordinate wayfinding and activations, and collaborate with host cities, government and partners to deliver inclusive, world-class events that connect fans with

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience delivering major sporting, entertainment, festival or large-scale events.
Experience delivering Fan Festivals or large-scale public events end-to-end.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Excellent project management across budgets, timelines and priorities.
Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

Lead planning and delivery of Fan Festivals across host cities.
Act as liaison with host territories, city partners and stakeholders.
Develop fan journey and last-mile experiences from hubs to venues.
Coordinate fan engagement initiatives (Open Training Sessions, ceremonies, experiences).
Drive fan communications, wayfinding and spectator information resources.
Champion accessibility and inclusion across fan-facing programs.
