Job summary

Katek Fertilizers, a family-owned manufacturer in Lower Wonga, north-west of Gympie, is looking for a motivated and reliable person to join our small, hands-on production team. The role offers flexible full-time hours, Monday to Friday, with duties varying according to production needs.

You will operate filling and packing equipment, weigh materials, service machinery, and assist with forklifts and general production tasks.

Qualifications

• Friendly, reliable and willing to learn.
• Loader ticket or experience.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg.

Responsibilities

• Operate filling and packing equipment.
• Prepare and weigh raw materials for production.
• Adjust and grease production equipment.
• Operate forklifts and loaders to load/unload trucks.
• Provide general support across mechanical and operational tasks as directed by the Production Supervisor.
• Keep work areas clean.

Katek Fertilizers is a family-owned manufacturer of fertilisers and garden products operating from our factory in Lower Wonga, north-west of Gympie. We distribute product Australia wide through a network of rural produce stores and nurseries.

We are looking for someone motivated and reliable to join our small, hands-on team.We can offer flexible full time hours, working Monday-Friday. Duties vary daily depending on production needs.

This role includes a wide range of duties:

• Operating filling and packing equipment
• Preparing & weighing raw materials for production
• Adjusting and greasing production equipment
• Operating forklifts & loaders to load/unload trucks
• General support across mechanical and operational tasks as directed by the Production Supervisor
• Ensuring work areas are kept clean
