Job summary

Frontline Human Resources currently has multiple opportunities for a Production Operator or Machine Operator to join our client in Coopers Plains. Immediate starts available for successful applicants, with a valid LF ticket requested.

We offer an hourly wage of $42–$50 across a fixed 2 x 12 hour day and 2 x 12 hour night roster, with overtime paid, and a pathway to full-time employment for the right candidate in a safety-focused workplace.

Qualifications

• LF ticket compulsory
• Experience as factory hand, machine operator or production operator
• Experience with building materials (Gyprock, insulation, plasterboard etc)
• Physically fit or experience in a physically demanding role

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery to manufacture materials to quality standards and inspect as required
• Identify, report and resolve equipment or product faults to keep production flowing
• Safely unload, move and store materials and finished products
• Participate in hazard identification and continuous improvement for safety and quality
• Maintain housekeeping and support site operations as directed

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery to manufacture materials to commercial quality standards, conducting regular quality inspections as required.
• Identify, report, and assist in resolving equipment or product faults to maintain smooth production flow.
• Safely unload, move, and store materials and finished products within the warehouse or production area.
• Actively participate in hazard identification and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing safety and product quality.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and complete additional tasks as directed to support overall site operations.
• Not required but a LF ticket/Forklift license is highly preferred for this role
