Job summary

FBM Trading Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a Production Quality Operator to uphold food safety and quality standards across manufacturing. You will repack products, set up equipment, and maintain hygiene throughout processes.

The role requires practical knowledge of GMP and ability to complete production records; you will report issues to the Production Manager and assist with driver duties when needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene in processing environments.
• Familiar with quality systems and procedures.
• Willingness to repack and handle products.

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with company food safety & quality policy, food safety & quality objectives, quality procedures and work instructions
• Ensure that hygienic practices, personnel hygiene and GMP requirements are adhered to at all times
• Repacking bulk products and retail products
• Complete quality system records related with production operations
• Set up equipment for production according to the procedure; ensure that surfaces are cleaned and sanitized before starting
• Complete cleaning and sanitation procedures and schedules as directed
• Produce and monitor process according to the procedure
• Operate plant equipment and machinery in an efficient, hygienic and safe manner
• Report any production problems to the Production Manager
• Place any suspected non-conforming materials or products on hold and report immediately to the Production Manager for further assessment
• Fill in for driver run when drivers are away
