The Microbiomics Group in Brisbane is seeking a production operator to support blending, packing and cleaning tasks on the manufacturing line. You will follow approved work instructions, perform required monitoring and record results accurately while working under supervision.

This role requires attention to detail for paperwork, supporting GMP compliance, and completing safety checks. No prior experience is required as training is provided; prior food or production experience is a bonus but not

• Ability to follow procedures and maintain accuracy in records.
• Comfortable standing, manual handling, and working on a production line.

• Monitor and record safety checks on the line and recording the results.
• Perform quality checks during packing and record results accurately and legibly.
• Pick and allocate raw materials against the production schedule, verifying identity and quantity.
• Complete cleaning tasks and associated cleaning records.
• Perform bulk segregation and run assignment tasks as directed by the supervisor.
• Raise any food-safety concerns, deviations or near-misses to the supervisor.
• Attend and complete all assigned training and maintain competency for each task performed.
• Keep work areas clean, organised and compliant with GMP requirements at all times.

Supports manufacturing operations by executing blending, packing and cleaning tasks under supervision, performing required monitoring and recording at designated control points.

Key responsibilities

Execute blending and packing operations per approved work instructions and within defined parameters.

Monitor and record safety checks on the line (magnet and sieve checks) and recording the results

Perform quality checks during packing and record results accurately and legibly.

Pick and allocate raw materials against the production schedule, verifying identity and quantity.

Complete cleaning tasks per the cleaning work instructions and complete associated cleaning records.

Perform bulk segregation and run assignment tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Raise any food-safety concerns, deviations or near-misses immediately to the supervisor.

Attend and complete all assigned training and maintain competency for each task performed.

Keep work areas clean, organised and compliant with GMP requirements at all times.

About you

A good eye for detail and pride in getting your paperwork right

Happy to follow procedures and speak up when something's off

Comfortable on your feet and with manual handling

No experience needed, we'll train you on everything. If you've worked in food or production before, that's a bonus.
