Job summary

Capstone Recruitment seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a shopping centre asset in Liverpool, South Western Sydney. The role combines operations leadership with a major CAPEX development program on site, reporting to the Centre Manager.

You will oversee hard and soft services, manage CAPEX planning, and coordinate logistics for developments, ensuring compliance, safety and efficient multi-tenant operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management of large or complex built assets.
• Retail, commercial or mixed-use experience preferred.
• Track record managing compliance (AFSS, WHS, building code, DA, council) in multi-tenant environments.
• Experience with diverse contractor base (cleaning, security, mechanical, electrical, fire, hydraulic).
• Exposure to CAPEX management and logistics for large developments.

About the Opportunity

Our client is an established owner and operator of a mixture of Non-Residential property assets. They are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager or Operations Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a shopping centre asset in Liverpool, South Western Sydney.

This is a broad and hands-on leadership role, combining full accountability for building operations with a significant capital works program tied to a major development project on site. Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will oversee both hard services and soft services delivery, while managing CAPEX planning and logistics coordination for developments.

About You

• Demonstrated experience in a facilities management role, with accountability for a large or complex built asset. Retail, commercial or mixed-use experience is preferred.
• A proven track record managing compliance obligations, including AFSS, WHS, building code, and DA and council requirements, within a multi-tenancy environment.
• Experience managing a diverse contractor base, including cleaning, security, mechanical, electrical, fire and hydraulic services, with accountability for performance and value.
• Exposure to CAPEX management and logistics coordination for a large development project would be highly regarded.
