Job summary

JLL is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead comprehensive facilities services for the Australia Post portfolio across multiple sites. You will drive risk management, cost-saving initiatives and service improvements while managing vendor performance and stakeholder relationships.

Your leadership will guide a facilities team, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and enhance service delivery with a coaching mindset that drives performance excellence.

Qualifications

5–10 years of proven experience in corporate real estate or facilities management.
Ability to interpret numerical data with strong planning and organizational skills.
Proven professionalism with diverse stakeholders, including senior client staff.
Driver's license for regular site travel and related leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of comprehensive facilities services for the Australia Post portfolio across multiple sites.
Drive the property risk management program including OH&S, security, fire safety and environmental compliance.
Develop cost savings initiatives and service improvements with Finance for variance analysis.
Manage client relationships and monitor service response times and occupant trends.
Mentor and develop the facilities team and coordinate vendors and Help Desk outputs.

What this opportunity involves:

As a Facilities Manager at JLL, you'll lead the delivery of comprehensive facilities services for the Australia Post portfolio, ensuring operational excellence across all sites while managing financial, technical, maintenance, procurement, asset, and vendor management programs. This role sits at the heart of our service delivery, requiring you to engage with stakeholders at every level of the business to meet service expectations without introducing financial or tenure risk. You'll drive achievement of Facilities Services KPIs while identifying and implementing strategies to mitigate risk across the account. An overview of the role:

Drive the property risk management program, identifying and managing risks including occupational health and safety, security, fire safety, essential services, and environmental compliance while ensuring statutory compliance across all buildings and assets
Develop and implement cost savings initiatives and service improvement strategies that deliver measurable value, working with the Finance team to review financial performance and prepare variance analysis with Australia Post Management
Lead client relationship management by proactively developing business unit relationships, evaluating service response times, and analyzing occupant service request trends to achieve maximum satisfaction levels
Manage and mentor your facilities team, actively encouraging an environment that supports teamwork, cooperation, and performance excellence while maintaining high staff morale and work ethics
Coordinate facilities vendors and monitor Help Desk outputs proactively to achieve or exceed key performance indicators and service level targets, ensuring disaster recovery and business continuity planning is implemented across all sites

5-10 years of proven experience in corporate real estate or facilities management fields, with demonstrated success managing multi-site portfolios and complex operational matters
Strong aptitude for interpreting and analyzing numerical data, with excellent planning and organizational skills to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
Proven ability to interact professionally with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior client staff, demonstrating customer service excellence and effective conflict management in high-pressure situations
Proficiency in MS Office suite and facilities management systems, with strong PC literacy and understanding of 24-hour call-out requirements and reactive/routine maintenance delivery models
Current and valid driver's license for regular portfolio site travel, with tertiary qualifications in Property, Facilities, or Trade-related fields desirable or demonstrable experience in a similar leadership role
