Job summary

Funlab, Australia’s leading creator of competitive socialising experiences, is seeking a Facilities Technician for Strike Bowling in Bowen Hills. You’ll maintain venue equipment, coordinate with the facilities team, and drive preventive maintenance across bowling and amusement activities.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on mechanical experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously while communicating effectively with the team. Comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• Natural technical/mechanical aptitude.
• Proven technical or mechanical experience.
• Ability to systematically work through complex problems.
• A willingness to learn and problem solve.
• A mature, collaborative and positive approach to your work.
• An ability to work autonomously but also communicate effectively to the team.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to work with Funlab systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of all pieces of equipment in the venue.
• Staying in close contact with your Venue Manager and Facilities support team by responding to emails, calendar invites and logs to follow up on all maintenance tasks.
• Completion of the Preventative Maintenance Schedule for all bowling/amusement activities and venue attractions/devices.
• Maintaining databases and spare parts.
• Maintain workplace standard in regards to site safety.
• Working with your Area Facilities Manager to sign off and book external trades needed in venue.
• General facility upkeep; painting, patching, basic plumbing, repairs you name it.
