Job summary

Dementia Australia in Milton, QLD is seeking a Full-time Facilities Manager to lead day-to-day maintenance and facilities operations across sites. You will coordinate projects, manage leases with building management and subtenants, and ensure WHS compliance while driving environmental initiatives.

Applicants should have a Certificate III in Facilities Management (or equivalent) and a minimum of 3 years in a similar role, with strong vendor management, budgeting and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Facilities Management or demonstrated equivalent experience/qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Promotes health, safety and wellbeing for a safe work environment.
• Effective teamwork and collaboration across functions.
• Strong time and project management to prioritise conflicting demands.
• Utilises facilities management knowledge to drive end-to-end vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing day-to-day maintenance and facilities operations across Dementia Australia sites.
• Coordinating facilities projects including relocations, openings/closures, refits and capital works.
• Liaising with building management and subtenants to resolve tenancy issues and manage leases.
• Conducting routine inspections and ensuring WHS compliance.
• Managing relationships with contractors and suppliers, including onboarding and performance monitoring.
• Monitoring facilities budgets and processing supplier accounts with the Finance team.
• Driving environmental initiatives and preventative maintenance schedules across sites.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and WHS Manager to meet safety standards.
