Job summary

Forum Recruitment partners with a values-driven organisation in Sydney's west, seeking an experienced Facilities Manager for a short-term parental leave cover. The role focuses on systems, contractor management and stakeholder communication to maintain operational continuity.

You will oversee day-to-day facilities across a portfolio, coordinate reactive maintenance and contractor activity, and use internal systems to track and manage facilities work.

About the role

This is a short-term contract opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to support the team during a parental leave period. The role will suit someone who is confident with systems, contractor management and stakeholder communication, and who can step in quickly to maintain operational continuity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Using internal systems to track, manage and follow up facilities activity.
• Providing continuity and support during handover and parental leave cover.

About you

To be successful in this role, it is essential to have previous facilities management experience, strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. You will be comfortable dealing with trades, contractors and internal stakeholders, and will be able to keep things moving in a calm and organised way.
