Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Perth is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple facilities, covering hard and soft services. You will manage maintenance programs, safety, and compliance while coordinating budgets and documentation.

The role requires 3+ years in FM or related qualifications, a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), and proficiency with CMMS and MS Office. Travel to regional sites is expected. Australian citizenship or clearable security status is required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Facilities Management OR relevant trade/technical qualification or FM‑related tertiary qualification.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or supervisory experience (preferred).
  • Strong capability in planning and managing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and related documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS/Work Order Management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all reactive, planned and corrective maintenance meets contractual, regulatory and industry standards.
  • Coordinate maintenance programs to uphold site condition, presentation, safety and compliance.
  • Prepare accurate site documentation including emergency procedures, compliance records and financial summaries.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop capital budgets and maintenance plans.
  • Monitor contractor and tenant compliance with insurance and regulatory requirements.
  • Travel to regional and remote sites to conduct inspections and support local teams.

Work Environment

This role operates within a professional client office environment, with travel between sites as required. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed.
