Job summary

Hunter New England Health is seeking a skilled Carpenter for the Moree District Hospital to perform daily maintenance of hospital plant and equipment, ensuring safety and reliability. The role involves collaborating with trades, reading plans, and supporting project refurbishments, with travel to other sites as required.

The successful candidate will be a team player, able to work independently, and possess strong customer service and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day maintenance of hospital plant, equipment and facilities.
• Work with other trades on new projects and refurbishments.
• Assist other trades to support operation of the facility.
• Read and interpret construction plans and schedules.
• Ensure work complies with BCA, WHS and Australian Standards.
