Job summary

Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking a dedicated tradesperson to join the Moree Engineering Team. You will perform day-to-day maintenance of hospital plant, equipment, and facilities to ensure safe, functional operations that support patient care and staff.

You will collaborate with other trades on projects and refurbishments, reading plans and following safety standards. The role involves travel to other HNE facilities, working as part of a team with minimal supervision, and

Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualifications are required.
• Eligibility to drive in NSW and willingness to travel for work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day maintenance of hospital plant, equipment and facilities.
• Work with other trades on new projects and refurbishments.
• Assist other trades to support facility operations.
• Work as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Read and interpret construction plans and schedules.
• Ensure work complies with BCA, local authorities, WHS and Australian Standards.
• Travel to other HNE facilities as required.
• Provide professional customer service to patients, visitors and staff.
