Job summary

Westfield Kotara is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join our team. This hands-on role supports safe operation of the centre by coordinating contractors, assisting retailers, and maintaining high standards of safety, presentation, and compliance.

You will be part of a collaborative team and gain broad exposure across facilities operations. We value proactive, organised individuals who can manage competing priorities, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and learn new facilities

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities, property, retail, or a similar operational environment.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence communicating with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
• Interest in growing a career in facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive maintenance issues and onsite investigations.
• Coordinate contractors to deliver works safely, on time, and to a high standard.
• Manage work orders, reporting, and administrative tasks through facilities systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, safety checks, and supporting maintenance and minor works.
• Build relationships with retailers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with incidents, emergencies, and compliance processes in line with procedures.

Your opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator to join the team at Westfield Kotara.

This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. You'll support the smooth and safe operation of the centre by coordinating contractors, supporting retailers, and maintaining high standards of safety, presentation, and compliance. Working as part of a supportive and collaborative team, you'll gain broad exposure across facilities operations while building your career within a busy and evolving environment.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

• Responding to reactive maintenance issues and completing onsite investigations
• Coordinating contractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard
• Managing work orders, reporting, and administrative tasks through facilities systems
• Conducting routine inspections, safety checks, and supporting maintenance and minor works
• Building strong relationships with retailers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
• Supporting projects and ongoing improvements across the centre
• Assisting with incidents, emergencies, and compliance processes in line with procedures
  

This is a full-time permanent role at Westfield Kotara.
