Job summary

Mayday Recruitment is seeking an energetic Facilities Coordinator to own day-to-day facilities coordination with a strong focus on hard services and building maintenance. The role is based in Macquarie Park, Sydney, offering a hands-on environment and opportunities to work with service providers and stakeholders across Australia and globally.

You will manage planned and reactive maintenance, coordinate contractors, and drive improvements through data and proactive planning.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities coordination or similar is essential.
• Visa holders welcome to apply – must be able to commit to 37.5 hours per week.
• Candidates will ideally be able to commence a new assignment immediately.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of hard facilities services, including planned and reactive maintenance across building services and assets.
• Manage day-to-day maintenance requests, ensuring issues are prioritised, actioned and closed out within agreed timeframes.
• Coordinate contractors and specialist service providers across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire, lifts, building fabric and other essential services.
• Schedule and monitor preventative and planned maintenance programs to ensure assets remain safe, compliant and operational.
• Liaise with contractors to obtain quotes, coordinate works, monitor progress and ensure services are delivered in accordance with agreed requirements.
• Ensure facilities maintenance activities are delivered in line with relevant legislation, Australian Standards, WHS requirements and organisational policies.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand facilities requirements and communicate maintenance activities, disruptions and planned works.
• Coordinate reactive incidents and elevate critical building or service issues where required.
• Bring energy, curiosity and a hands-on approach to every facilities requirement.
